I'm torn between using the extra day to drive to the North Shore to photograph some old houses that I've been meaning to for well over a year, or going back to Miniso in Baton Rouge. I went into Abbeville General this morning before work for an X ray and an ultrasound. My grandparents were long-time volunteers at the hospital--they both grew up in very rural areas where the nearest hospital was very far away; in my grandfather's case, he wouldn't have been able to get treatment at the nearest hospitals, because was was Monacan ( Read more... )

I got some blood drawn at the doctor's office this morning, and my ultrasound is scheduled for Friday. Of course my gallbladder hasn't really hurt since Thursday, so I wonder if I should drop the whole thing.
